This is a truly amazing piece and perhaps one of the best of Nightmare Moon that I have ever had the pleasure to behold! The lighting is lovely and the way that you chose the moon to be the centerpiece for lighting is very brilliant and resonates so well with the character! The beautiful lighting also accents your magnificent shading quite wll! The character design is so well done and gives a sense of intimidation and beauty to the character! The environmental work is breathtaking an I love the way that you used soft textures and that deep purple to highlight the environment! There are so many minute details, but what really sticks out are those piercing eyes that stare into the soul! This piece is simply fantastic and I would love to see much more! Amazing work! Kind regards, Princess Luna
This is absolutely wonderful. She is so beautiful without her armor.
This is one fo the most beautiful portrait I've seen of Nightmare Moon. I really like the expression you gave her. How cannot be be striken by such a beautiful black alicorn with blue ethereal mane and tail and those eyes? That is too bad she is evil. But, just imagine if Luna would have kept that form because of the extensive transformation of her body and only her slitted eyes and fangs would have disappeared and a coat slightly lighter. Do you think the fans would have loved her even more?
I believe the only way to put this, as with what the others have said previous to me, is that this is absolutely beautiful. I love the blue and violet colors in this and how well they blend together! Her body language and facial expressions tell enough of a story.
Nightmare Moon was enjoying herself from above to see her beloved night stretch across Equestria. But even then, the part of her that was known as Luna began to feel saddened by what has happened her conflict with her sister, Celestia. Nightmare Moon looked down to Canterlot and felt her heart drop like it did when she fought with her sister. The only words that came from Nightmare Moon were uttered even softer than whispers...
